At Apartments International Inc., cleanliness and sanitization is a priority. To keep you, your family, as well as our staff, as safe as possible, we take all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.

Our housekeeping service thoroughly cleans each suite prior to move in, sanitizing with alcohol and vinegar on high traffic surfaces such as, doorknobs, counter tops, tabletops, faucets, sinks, toilets, cabinetry accessories, and light switches. On top of the sanitization process, our housekeeping service also shampoos all the carpets and upholstery ensuring a thorough clean.

Our sanitizations products are environment friendly and biodegrable.

Flu: Home Care Tips

During an infectious disease outbreak or pandemic, hospitals can quickly become overwhelmed with patients, many of whom can be cared for in their home. It is possible that you may be called upon to take care of a member of your family who becomes ill.

If someone in your home becomes ill, they will need to stay home for at least 7 days after onset of illness and after fever has gone down. Choose one person to be the primary caregiver to minimize the risk of spreading the virus to others. It is vital that home caregivers understand and follow hygiene and safety guidelines. What is H1N1?

The H1N1 virus is a subtype of the influenza A (flu) virus which is the most common cause of the flu in humans. The Seasonal Flu virus can be easily overcome by our body’s immune system but certain sub-types of the influenza Virus' such as swine and bird flu, are less common and make it difficult for our immune systems to heal.

The symptoms of the recent H1N1 virus are similar to the more common “flu” virus. These include: fever, coughing, headaches, muscle or joint pain, sore throat, chills, fatigue, and runny nose. In the event that you are developing flu like systems, you should visit your physician to properly assess your condition.
